Art is a child's language of expression
What is Art Therapy?

Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art media, images, and the creative process to encourage clients to express their thoughts and feelings. Creating artwork helps them access their emotions through the use of visual metaphors and symbols. These works of art are an invaluable diagnostic tool for the therapist and a means of self-discovery for the client.

How does the Art Therapy Connection help children in the schools?

By working with parents, school administrators, teachers and school social workers, we are able to identify those children who most need help. In giving them a safe outlet to express themselves, we help open the doors for a more successful school experience.
